Privacy of user data
We employ all appropriate technical and organizational measures (including encryption of your personal data) to ensure a level of security for your data that is exposed to the risk. Not only we don't use your data to show you ads but also we only store the data that River needs to function as a secure and feature-rich messaging service.
We may also store some aggregated metadata such as your IP address, devices and River apps you've used, history of username changes, etc. to create River features that work across all your devices. To use River, you can either use Android, iOS, or Desktop versions and River Web. Keep in mind that all of your chats sync immediately through all your sessions.
We've provided River's groups to help you communicate with your family, friends, and coworkers. Users can add to private groups up to 250 members. you have the right to assign administrators to the groups to handle it. As you can see, it's available to send files, media, voice messages, and so on to these private groups. All of your interactions are highly secure.
In recent years the users of communication tools, including messaging services, have become more conscious about privacy and security. To suit the River's users' privacy, all users' data is stored encrypted and encryption keys cannot be found easily. Our mission is to protect your privacy so that you never have to think twice about what you can or can't share when you're using River.
